Père Noël and Père Fouettard. One will give you candy if you're good, one will hit you with sticks  and stuff you in a black sack if you're bad. I have some pretty funny photos from when I was visited by these two. Two men actually come to the door at night dressed in a red suit, the other a black suit! Anyway, Père Noël also comes on December 6th to deliver small gifts to celebrate St. Nicholas. So Joni and I played Père Noël and drove around Irvine delivering cookies to hard working students! (Above: Undergrad) (Below: Graduate) We made a stop at University of California Irvine which is a pretty small school with some really driven students.










Their mascot is a giant anteater named Peter. Here you see Peter and I chatting it up.
